Product Overview
From the manufacturer:
A pedal incarnation of the gloriously obnoxious IVP rackmount preamp.
Wuh? You think the Harmonic Percolator was the secret to Steve Albini's in-your-face guitar assault? No - it was the Instrument Voicing Preamp. The HP was the icing on the cake, so yeah - grab yourself one and play them together.
Clangy, crass and quite unique. You've played nothing like this. Active EQ comes BEFORE the distortion section, which makes it feel... just different. It's easier to tune it to the frequency boost you're after.
This isn't the full preamp by any means. It is a perfect distillation of the raw essence in a much handier package.
