These charge pumps are drop in replacements for 1044 and 7660. These shouldn't add oscillation to the circuit, but connecting Pin1 to V+ (Pin 8) will raise the frequency way out of the audio range. DIP8 package, mfg: Maxim. These can handle up to 10.5v input
