This great-sounding FF T-set is created using two NOS pieces of the rare and much talked-about Soviet-era ASX12D germanium PNP transistor. This transistor has gathered a reputation as a substitute for the now unavailable NKT275 and the sound will tell you why. The parts are low-leakage and relatively stable with temperature variations. There are not many NOS Eastern-Bloc germanium parts available with the characteristics needed for use in the "standard" FF circuit, but we located a limited amount. We've characterized, matched, biased and audited these T-sets to ensure that you'll get low noise and the best vintage germanium sound possible. Includes biasing resistors
