Fuzz Dog BeatleVox
Love them, hate them, or roll your eyes with utter indifference - The Beatles kicked out some fantastic tone. Here's a little box of fuzz that will get you near to the lead tones from Revolver and Sgt Peppers.
Based on the distortion (a fuzz really, but hey....) circuit in the Vox™ UL730 amp, this thing rips. An added bias control lets you tweak around with it as some units were biased differently to others, and it makes a big difference to the tone.
The obsolete OA200 diodes used in the original amps and the pedal recreation are hard to come by. We can only assume the limited run of the pedal is down to the lack of these parts. Small Bear BeatleVox Kits ship with 1N4148 diodes, If you want to recreate the original you'll need to source your own OA200!
